Does faith have anything to do with culture? The church and the arts have had a tenuous relationship at many different junctures throughout history. Are the two mutually exclusive or is there some common ground? Continued

Faith & Culture News
You're invited to a movie night on Friday, January 28th. This month I am featuring The Village by M. Night Shyamalan. That's right no subtitles, no strange artsy flick, a genuine popular film. This film raise interesting questions about the nature of good and evil as well as exploring the human struggle to form civil order. If that's sound too philosophical, trust me it's a genuine thriller and not simply an existential question. If you've seen it once, you'll have some interesting insights for our discussion. If you've never seen it, try to avoid reading any reviews that might spoil the story. It is best unfolded in story.

For food I am going to make two kinds of soup: New England Clam Chowder and Manhattan Style Clam Chowder. You are welcome to bring anything that might complement.
